IT for medical practices · Hamburg IT that simply works during surgery hours.
I look after IT for medical practices in Hamburg: practice software, workstations, networks, backup and email, all from one source. I coordinate with your telematics provider and the vendor of your practice software. I make changes outside surgery hours.
What practices tell me most often.
Responsibility
When something goes wrong, the telematics provider and the software vendor blame each other.
I look after everything between the connector and the practice software and sort out the handovers directly with both.
KBV guideline
We do not know whether we meet the KBV IT security guideline.
I go through the guideline with you point by point. You see what is met and documented, and what is still missing.
Glitches
Sometimes the printer fails, sometimes the practice software hangs.
I split the practice network into separate areas, such as those for practice PCs, phones, diagnostic devices and guest Wi-Fi. That makes it more stable and secure.
Software change
We are changing our practice software.
I plan the switch together with the vendor so the practice keeps running.
What runs in the practice afterwards.
Separated practice network
Practice PCs, phones, diagnostic devices and guest Wi-Fi have separate areas. The firewall controls connections between them.
Backup that survives an attack
Three copies, one of them in a data centre that cannot be reached from the practice.
Protected email
Mailboxes and domains in order, with protection against phishing and malware.
Guideline documented
I implement and document KBV requirements so you can prove they are met.
The practice network in separate zones.
On a flat network, every device can reach every other device. I split the practice network into zones. The firewall then controls which connections are allowed between them.
Email, practice software and network from one source.
I have supported a specialist practice since February 2026. There, I moved email to a protected platform and worked with the vendor on the change of practice software. I also reorganised and documented the network.

Briefly answered.
Have a different question? Just write to me.
No. The KBV itself says certification is voluntary. What matters is that the requirements are met and documented.
No, that is your telematics provider’s job. I look after everything around it and coordinate with them where systems meet.
Yes. I plan changes outside surgery hours and carry them out area by area.
