External IT partner since 2018: ongoing IT support for a growing agency
A Hamburg agency has grown from around 40 to more than 100 staff. I have supported its IT since 2018 as an external IT partner, after three years as its in-house IT.

Starting point
I know this agency’s IT from my time as an employee there from 2015 to 2018. Since then it has grown from around 40 to more than 100 staff, with an office, a logistics site and teams working at changing locations. Its core business is marketing; the IT had to grow with it without anyone in the company having to look after it.
Solution
Since 2018 I have supported the agency as an external IT partner. I plan larger changes together with the agency and deliver them in waves so the business keeps running. These have included migrating file storage to SharePoint and mailboxes to Exchange Online, network and Wi-Fi at the logistics site, a new firewall with a fibre connection and a second line for failover, mobile time tracking for teams working on location, and an internal wiki with guides and training for new systems.
Outcome
The agency has one point of contact who knows how its environment is built and how it has developed. The systems are documented, and staff find guides in the wiki. The work continues, and I plan new requirements on this basis.
A Microsoft 365 security concept for an engineering firm (ongoing project)
Ongoing project: since September 2026 I have been supporting a Hamburg engineering firm with around 130 staff and 160 devices on a Microsoft 365 security concept that is being rolled out step by step.
Medical practice IT: email, practice software and network changed over
Two sites, ten workstations and several providers involved: I supported the IT changeover at a specialist medical practice in Hamburg and have looked after it ever since.
IT provider change and an office move without a handover: network rebuilt for 15 workstations
A model agency in Hamburg needed a new network for an office move on a fixed date, without a handover from its previous provider. I recorded the existing setup and prepared the changeover.
